DB700 Debyssing machine

The DB700 Debyssing machine is designed to remove the byssus treads of the mussels.

The mussels are fed to the Debyssing machine. The debyssing is done by means of rotating profiled axes in opposite directions. The byssus threads are grabbed by the profiled shafts and pulled out of the mussels. The cleaned mussels are discharged on the front of the Debyssing machine, the byssus threads and other waste through the underside.

The Debyssing machine is available as a stand-alone machine or in combination with other processing machines.
