The CL100 Cooking line for shellfish is designed to cook shellfish and to separate the meat from the shells.

Via the Buffer Dosing conveyor the product to be steamed is dosed into a stainless steel basket. The Basket Transfer system puts the filled basket in the Pressure cooker. The Pressure cooker closes and the automatic cooking cycle is started. After the cooking cycle, the basket is emptied on the Cooling Dosing conveyor. Cooling stops the cooking process immediately. The empty basket returns to the filling position via the Basket Return system. The cooled product goes to the Meat shells Separator. With salt water, meat and shells are separated. The meat goes to the Inspection conveyor with meat washer where the salt of the meat is rinsed off. The empty shells are crushed in the Shell crusher to reduce the volume.
