Prewash installation fresh mussels

The Prewash installation fresh mussels is designed to rinse the mussels and to remove small stones from between the mussels.

The installation is made up of components listed below.

• Conveyor
• Cyclone with rotor
• Stone collector
• Dewatering vibrator with dirt discharge and divide gutter for filling tubs
• Water collection bin with circulation pump
• Cyclone for cleaning water

The mussels are fed into the Cyclone with rotor via the Conveyor. The water in the Cyclone with rotor flows from bottom to top. The mussels are taken by the water stream and discharged via a gutter to the Dewatering vibrator. The stones drop through the water stream and are collected in the Stone collector. On the Dewatering vibrator the water is poured out of the mussels and then the mussels go through the divide gutter to a collecting bin. The water is collected, cleaned and reused.
